I am Doctor specializing in ailments of aging, also called as Geriatric medicine. Through years of journey in medicine, I came across many heartwarming stories, that left me amazed about umpteen possibilities life has to offer for good health. Inspired by these lives, I decided to take a deep dive into mindful aging.
We are a family of foodies, we like to improvise ways to make it interesting. Having been married into a family of Ayurveda doctors, I realized the importance of the healing power of certain superfoods. This followed vegetarianism, which later opened the doors for wide variety of options in vegetarian diet, leading me to create my own recipes. Recipes that were tasteful, mindful and soulful!
In my Medical practice, I often find myself giving people recipes to help with certain ailments. Many of my patients have benefitted from changing to healthy diet, some diabetics have been off medications, and people with stroke and heart attacks have recovered to be healthy individuals. There is immense power in mindful eating, which beacons the healing power of foods. I strongly believe in the saying “YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT”
Geriatric Medicine for me is not a career, it’s a calling….having known and seen all ailments of aging, I want my friends, family, loved ones and patients to take control early in life.

I have incorporated yoga in my life since early childhood. To enhance the effects of yoga in my life, I turned into a vegetarian…this changed my life, I felt more energetic, and ready to take on life. My wife and I started this blog to help people explore the world of vegetarian superfoods.
